Presented at Hamburgers, Coca-Cola and Pigeons in the Toni Areal, Zürich on 13.01.2015

The experiment of combining ambrotyping, also known as the wet-collodion process, with today’s methods, was the starting point of this work. The background was to reproduce this technique, but instead of using a camera as it should be done, using a beamer to produce the images by projecting them on the plates.

The projected initial images were portraits of persons who have a Colombian and a Swiss origin.
