Presented at Kunsthalle Zürich in Zürich, Switzerland on 23.11.18

Maricruz Peñalosa, curator and old friend of mine, invited me to perform for the opening of the Volumes Independent Publishing Festival 2018 at the Kunsthalle in Zürich.

In this work I intended to experiment on a different performative field. Inspired by Sophie Jung and Romi Rüegger, I decided to try a mix out of lecture performance, live music of my solo repertoire and a short jazz improvisation on guitar.

The title is an adaption of the old idiom “The devil is in the detail” and in my use it is meant as a metapher for the widely use of cynicism in the memes posted by the younger generations, who have grown up in the digital era and exist as real individuals and as a social media users.
